Methodist Church

Watchet Methodist Church is a late 19th century building standing imposingly opposite Watchet Station.
Access to the events organised by Words in Watchet is up the short steep flight of stairs that can be seen in the photo. Alternatively, Disabled Access can be provided down a slight slope to the front left of the building, where there is a dedicated lift to the first floor (Let Stewards know you need this and it can be arranged). Once on the first floor, access is flat to the pews in the main church. Alternatively there are stairs to the balcony seats.
Toilets for events at the Methodist Church are most easily provided on the flat by the block of toilets further along Harbour Road by the car park (including a disabled access toilet). Otherwise, toilets are accessed through the Methodist Schoolroom.
Go out of the building, turn to left and down a steep slop to the Schoolroom door. If these toilets are being used, there will be a Steward to direct you through to the toilets within.
